They produce bright red sprouts which have a mild earthy taste, wonderful colour, and grow into beautiful lime green microgreens with deep red veins. Add to salads, sandwiches, as a garnish or enjoy on their own. One of the favourite sprouts in health circles, beetroot seeds are reported to increase oxygen uptake at the cellular level, reduce blood pressure and protect the cardiovascular system.
